We offer internships for Master’s students who would like to gain some practical experience in the field of patent law. Meet Inken, our latest patent attorney intern!

What do you study?

I have a Bachelor’s and a Master’s degree in industrial engineering with a focus on electrical engineering, and at the moment, I am studying for my second Master’s degree in electrical engineering.

What attracted you to the profession of a patent attorney?

I have a friend who works as a patent attorney and I think it’s a very exciting profession.

What do you like most about 2SPL?

I feel very well integrated. The working atmosphere is very friendly and not as formal as I would have expected it to be in a law firm.

What do you like to do in your free time?

I do a lot of sport. For instance, I play soccer in a club.

Is there a particular quote or motto that you are inspired by?

It is important for me to find a job that I really like, so that work is more than just something that I have to do, but something that I enjoy doing.
