Due to a tie in our annual fundraising campaign, this year two organizations each received donations of €2500. After a check was presented to brotZeit e.V. in June, the donation check was handed over to the second winner, HORIZONT e.V., at the beginning of August.

The Munich initiative was founded in 1997 by actress Jutta Speidel and has been supporting mothers and children without permanent residence as well as socially disadvantaged families for over 25 years. In two HORIZONT houses, the organization offers safe housing and comprehensive care to give the affected families opportunities for a fresh start and social participation. A third house is currently under construction. Currently, alone in the HORIZONT shelter, the first of the two existing houses, about 100 affected children and mothers find housing and holistic care under one roof each year.

At the beginning of August, 2SPL partner Stefan Müller, who suggested the project, and Vanessa Klein, Communication Manager at 2SPL, presented the donation check to Nicolas Grünbeck from the Fundraising and Public Relations team at HORIZONT. We are very pleased to be able to contribute to supporting this valuable work with our donation.
