Focus of his work
Yong Hwang has extensive experience in drafting patent applications and conducting patent prosecution proceedings in the USA. He handles our clients’ US filings.
His technical focus is on wireless communication such as CDMA, OFDM, HSDPA/HSUPA), HSPA+, 3GPP Long Term Evolution (LTE) and Multiple-Input Multiple-Output (MIMO).
Career
Yong Hwang holds a Master’s degree in civil engineering earned at Seoul National University. He also studied electrical engineering at Hanyang University in Seoul. After moving to the USA, Yong completed his Juris Doctor degree at the University of New Hampshire Franklin Pierce School of Law. He is licensed as a US patent attorney with the USPTO and as a lawyer in the State of New York and the Commonwealth of Massachusetts.
